I found my strongest part in this project was the
scriptwriter as well as the performer. My ability to perform has gotten quite
good through out the years and I have become very comfortable with doing this.
I enjoy acting as well, which helps immensely. I enjoyed very much writing the
script for this play. Seeing how we had no limit with topic the limit was
endless. This allowed us to be extremely creative with whatever we chose. Hearing
all of the radio plays demonstrated the creative ability of the class. The students
very much enjoyed creating the plays themselves. The students were passionate
about the project, which makes for an enjoyable assignment. When passion shows
it tells the teacher that the students really tried with their assignment. These
are the things I learned personally while working on my play as well as
listening to the plays.
Hey Olivia, I definitely agree with your statement and point of view. I also enjoyed being a script writer as well as a performer. I did like completing this assignment. Did you also use Garage Band in your process of this assignment to create foley art? I did, and I thought this part of the assignment was more difficult that the others. You mention, that the students loved creating these plays. I know some students that disliked performing. What advice would you give to these students as an experienced drama student? Overall, I was passionate in this assignment too and I think this aided in the overall project completion.
